MEET CHANTAL

I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Psychology, but instead of following that path, I found myself intrigued by the Computer Science courses I took, which introduced me to the world of website design. That spark led me down a different journey, and I’ve never looked back.

Since 2000, I have been actively involved in website design and development. As a freelance designer, I took on subcontract work for multiple companies, built my portfolio, and gained invaluable experience. In 2003, I founded “ink.”—a small design company driven by my passion to create modern, beautiful, and professional websites.

I am a designer, a mother, a wife, a lover of animals. Creativity, design, and entrepreneurship have always been woven into my life. Growing up in a small town in Northwestern Ontario, my mum expertly sewed my fashion-forward clothes, and my dad encouraged my creativity by drawing pictures for me to color instead of giving me a standard coloring book. I married a finance guy whose first passion is art and graffiti, and our yard fences are now splattered with color as he creates a new “birthday piece” for our girls each year. I also designed and operate our vacation rental, which ranks in the top 1% of properties and holds Airbnb Superhost status.

I’m proud to be the original co-creator, volunteer event coordinator, and designer for the Halfmoon Bay Holiday Market & Kids Craft Fair which teaches kids the business basics and how to take their ideas to build, create and sell. Passing on the spark of entrepreneurship to my own children is something I take pride in – they both design, create and sell at local Sunshine Coast farmers markets through their businesses, (sewlucy.com and madebytheamazingjade).

My mission is to help others build their brand, grow their business, and share their passion. I’m excited to collaborate with clients who want to make a meaningful impact through creative design.
